Keto Filipino Sisig (Pork Belly)

  • 1 pound pork belly (slice one inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • 1 big red onion or yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1-2 chili peppers minced or 1/4 tablespoon chili flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon Bragg’s amino acid soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Optional: cilantro, fried garlic
  1. Season pork belly slices with salt and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill pork belly until well done. Pork skin should be crispy.
  3. Once grilled, chop the pork belly into fine pieces.
  4. In a bowl, combine the chopped meat, onions, lime juice and chili pepper.
  5. Season with bragg’s amino acids (soy sauce) and pepper.
  6. Warm it in a pan with a bit of oil if desired.
